Finally an experience designed for the adventure-seeking beachcombers! Pedal kayaks are a fun and unique way to explore the waterways, and the 10k Islands is a beautiful destination with ample opportunities for shelling.
On this tour, you'll get to spend about 30 minutes each way pedal kayaking along the scenic backwaters, keeping an eye out for marine animals like dolphins and manatees. Once we reach our island shelling spot (Dickmans Sandbar or Kice Island), you'll have a solid 3 hours of shelling time!
Before heading back, we'll take some time to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the island, photograph favorite shell finds, or take sunset silhouette photos! Just remember to bring along sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the tour - as shelling is hard work!
Private Tour Policy:
In order to keep our tour nice and intimate, private tours are offered at a flat fee for the entire tour, accommodating up to 3 guests. This means that the price for the tour does not change based on the number of guests.
Please Note: a booking request is NOT a confirmed tour until you receive an email confirmation with a unique Booking ID Number. Your credit card will only be charged upon confirmation of the tour. A temporary hold will be placed on your credit card for booking requests but it will not be charged until the tour is confirmed. If you have any questions regarding your booking request, please do not hesitate to text me!

We'll be kayaking, beachcombing, swimming under sunny skies (no shade anywhere) so bring sun protection!
Of course, feel free to bring your own desired food and beverages.
If conditions allow, you may want to swim for shells! Bring a snorkel mask! Although most times it won't be necessary to go underwater! Tours will be scheduled when tide is low enough to reveal some fun beachcombing finds we can reach on foot!

Guide provides water bottles and snacks (trail mix) for each guest, so please don't be shy! Ask for water/snacks as often as you like - the more you take, the lighter my load!
You will also receive a souvenir waterproof cell phone/keys pouch to keep them safe and dry while kayaking.
You'll be given a mesh shelling bag to collect any beachcombing finds you wish to keep! (Collect only empty shells!)
