HOBIE PEDAL KAYAK
RIVER ECO TOUR
2.5 HR
Welcome to my Hobie Pedal Kayak Tour of the Imperial River in Bonita Springs, Florida! What better way to start your day than by sharing a lovely morning cruise on the scenic Imperial River, where we may see a wide variety of birds as we pedal through the tranquil waters.
The Imperial River is a true gem, offering glimpses of semi-tropical freshwater beauty that is rarely seen elsewhere in Southwest Florida. As we kayak upstream, the river gradually gets narrower and shadier, with both sides lined with palms, cypress trees, and Spanish-moss draped oaks. The tea-colored water runs clear, and where the bottom is sandy, you'll be able to see fish, turtles, alligators, river otters, and manatees swimming below.
My Hobie Pedal Kayaks are perfect for this tour, as they allow you to easily and efficiently navigate through the water while also providing a low-impact, eco-friendly way to explore. With their comfortable seats and foot-pedal drive system, you'll be able to sit back and relax as you effortlessly glide through the water.
The Imperial River is part of The Great Calusa Blueway, a network of paddling trails that showcase the natural beauty and cultural history of Southwest Florida. I'll share information about the local flora and fauna, as well as the history and culture of the Imperial River and surrounding area. You'll also have plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos, snack, or just take in the peaceful surroundings.
Overall, this Hobie Pedal Kayak tour of the Imperial River is the perfect way to get out on the water and explore the natural beauty of Bonita Springs, Florida.
