This listing is for the pictured Golden Banded Cone, an ultra-rare color variation of the Alphabet Cone.
 
This is a truly special shell for the serious cone collector. Please note that this specimen is not in museum condition. The lip is rather jagged, one side of the shell is quite bald, and very little of the original sheen remains. These imperfections are clearly visible in the photographs and are reflected in the description. Despite its condition, the rarity of this particular variation makes it an amazing find and a wonderful addition to a collection.

The shell has been carefully cleaned in a bleach solution and finished with a light mineral oil polish.
 
Please understand that the shell's natural sheen is nearly non-existent despite the polish.
